Resort Policies

Welcome to Resort Owners Vacation Club Association in Vernon, New Jersey. These policies are designed to help all guests and owners enjoy a safe, comfortable, and relaxing stay. Please review them carefully before and during your visit.

This is a mixed-use community with both vacation guests and full-time residents. Please be mindful of noise and respectful of neighbors. As we are located in a rural area, wildlife such as bears and raccoons are common. Do not leave food
or trash outside. All guests must follow Association Rules & Regulations. Security patrols the property and may issue fines for violations.


General Policies

These policies apply to all registered guests, owners, exchangers, and visitors while on resort property.

By checking in, entering the property, or using resort facilities, you agree to:

  • Follow all resort policies, posted signs, and staff directions.Information
  • No landline telephones are provided—keep your mobile phone charged
  • Electric vehicle charging is prohibited
  • Non-urgent maintenance will be scheduled; you do not need to be present
  • Limit of 2 parking passes per unit
  • Additional parking available across from Minerals Hotel
  • Pool towels are not provided—use condo towels and return them
  • Washer/dryer available in unit
  • Additional towels available for a small fee via Front Desk

Policies may be updated from time to time. Please refer to the latest information provided at check-in and posted around the resort.

Check-In & Check-Out

To help us prepare your unit and keep the resort running smoothly, please observe the following standard times (subject to change):

  • Check-in time: 4 PM
  • Check-out time: 11 AM
  • Early check-in / late check-out: May be available and is not guaranteed. Please inquire with the front desk. Late departures may result in additional charges.

At check-in, you will be asked to provide to the guard gate:

  • Your email confirmation letter.

On check-out day, please:

  • Simply vacate the unit by 11am.

Parking & Vehicles

Parking is limited to two spaces per unit and is passes will be provided at the guard gate upon arrival.

Unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.

Pets & Service Animals

The resorts pet policy restricts all pets. Service animals are welcome in accordance with legal requirements and must be disclosed prior to arrival.

Damages & Fees

We understand that accidents can happen. At the same time, we must protect the resort and ensure fairness to all guests and owners.

  • Smoking inside the condo: $300 fine
  • Pets not permitted: $500 fine (Service animals must be disclosed prior to arrival)
  • Lost remote controls: $50 fine
  • Late check-out: $250 fine
  • Trash left outside on decks: $200 fine
  • Any Association violations will be charged to the guest
  • Guests are responsible for any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required due to their actions or those of their party.
  • If the resort incurs costs due to your actions (for example, fire department false alarms, towing, or property damage), those costs may be charged to you.

All fees and charges will follow the current schedule in effect at the time of your stay. Please call the front desk if you have any questions.
